Kathy Rogers should email you with a serial number/access code for the
online training course.
Students that have not begun doing the Online Test Before (“New
Students”):
1. Go to www.safetyserve.com/whitman
2. Click on the New Student button.
3. Click on Click here for New Student Registration
4. Type in the Serial Number/Access Code assigned to you in the box marked "Please
enter your Access Code" and click Submit.
5. You will be presented with a Registration page. Type
in your information, including a Login ID and a Password of your choice, and
click on Submit. (Please note - you will receive a confirming
email reminding you of the user name and password you created for access to the
site at a later date. You should only register as a New Student one
time.)
6. On the My Place page, click on Safety.
7. Then on the My Courses Page, click on NSC Defensive Driving II to begin the
course.
Students that have done the Online Test
and are resuming taking it (“Returning Students”):
1. Go to www.safetyserve.com/whitman
2. Click on the Returning Student button.
3. Type in your Login ID and your Password, created by you during registration,
and click on Login.
4. On the My Place page, click on Safety.
5. Then on the My Courses Page, click on NSC Defensive Driving II to begin the
course.
National Safety Council's DDC-PC Certificate of
Completion
Upon successful completion of the Defensive Driving Course-PC, you will receive
instructions for obtaining an official NSC DDC-PC Certificate, which may be
used to reduce your personal automobile insurance premiums. Check with
your insurance carrier to see if you qualify.
When you are done—email Jim to confirm you have done this.
Kathy Rogers should email you with a time and day for the three hour
class.
Be sure to go at the time and day.

Kathy will schedule an on-road driving test with you.
You have to score a 75% to pass. When you do, you will be van-certified.
