The most dangerous part about choosing support for your points is the temptation to be vague. Choose vivid and illustrative examples and be sure you really are supporting your main points.  Find out how to evaluate the quality of your evidence. Also, you may find visual aids helpful.

Another thing to keep in mind is the need to cite sources effectively. In some circumstances you may not need formal citations in your speech, but it is critical to document your sources.  Find out how to cite sources from the web.

Support means looking in the library but it also means thinking about your own experiences to use examples, quotations, stories, statistics, and more.
