Whitman Prep Session

Tentative PARLI-IE Schedule

All events occur in the Hunter Building

·        The PARLI-IE Prep Session is designed to get our year kick started.

·        You will prepare a complete parliamentary case with PMC, opposition responses and positions, and government responses and backup. YOU WILL KNOW THE PLU TOURNAMENT TOPIC AREAS SO YOUR CASES WILL BE USED AT THE NEXT TOURNAMENT WE GO TO.

·        You will prepare 40 articles for our extemp electronic filing system and engage in several extemp or impromptu practices.

·        You will engage in multiple drills and six debates.

·        The Prep Session will get new students integrated into the team, teach you key strategic elements of preparing all key parli arguments and engaging in extemp or impromptu speaking, and give you the practice you need so you are ready for a great year!
