THINGS YOU’LL BE EXPECTED TO DO FOR THE WNDI

 

POLICY

 

First, in mid and late May, you’ll pick research and lectures/example debates you want to do. Jim or Jake will send out the official list by June 1 with these.

 

Second, during June and July, you’ll need do your research following the Policy Camp Research Expectations

You finish your research during the week leading up to camp. See “Before Camp” for the deadlines.

 

Third, you arrive at the camp on the date noted on your contract (most people arrive TWOISH HOURS BEFORE THE SUNDAY STAFF MEETING THAT HAPPENS AT 4PM); pre-camp assistants arrive on July 15 or 17).

 

Fourth, Sunday evening, you begin lab and lecture work at the camp. This page gives some sense of At Camp Expectations

 

Fifth, if you have a Supplemental Job—a job besides a lab leader, check out the Supp. Jobs Expectations

 

Sixth, all staff need to read and follow the Residence Expectations shown on the right side of this page Res. Duties.

Make sure you read this stuff—you will be tested at the Staff Meeting.

 

If you are a NEW Staff Member, you need to do this prior to the camp:

New Staff Only—Complete the Faculty Sexual Harassment Training Page

Print the Certificate and Bring to Jim—THAT IS REQUIRED BY THE SCHOOL.

NEW STAFF: When you arrive at the camp, you’ll fill out I-9 and W-4 forms that require you to show your driver’s license and social security card. If you don’t have those, email Jim.

 

LD
