OVERALL
Your job is to make sure that quality files are produced; that files are printed; that files are distributed on time; that you assist Jim in setting up labs; that you supervise the Work-Study students; all of the items noted below.
Please help Jim out when he needs it including if he needs help getting things done needed for the camp. In the event that your total printing job hours total more than 80 hours, tell Jim; you will be compensated extra.
NOTE: YOU DO NOT HAVE
LECTURES MON-WED; MAKE SURE TO TELL JIM THIS IF HE ACCIDENTALLY GIVES YOU A
LECTURE, LAB, OR JUDGING DURING THIS TIME..
BEFORE CAMP
1. ASSIGN RESEARCH. In late May, you are in charge of assigning research to the staff based on preferences they request. Work in coordination with Jim on this.
2. ASSURE RESEARCH IS HIGH QUALITY. During June and July, you are in charge of assuring that policy staff are working on files that will be good files that will be useful in rounds (they link to the affs, have good evidence, are key issues on the topic, etc.). Coordinate with Jim on this as needed.
3. PROVIDE
FEEDBACK TO CAMP STAFF PROMPTLY. During July and especially the week
leading up to the beginning of the camp, provide feedback on files and outlines
to the staff. You need to return files/lecture outlines to the staff to fix
or to indicate they are approved within 2 days of receiving the files/outlines.

BE PRINTED.
SETUP A FOLDER INSIDE YOUR POLICY FOLDER
CREATE A “TO BE PRINTED,” “PRINTING,” AND “PRINTED” FOLDER. Use these folders per their name.
SAVE FILES EMAILED TO YOU INTO THE “TO BE PRINTED” FOLDER.

FOR THE CAMP EVIDENCE THAT JIM EMAILS TO CAMPERS AND THAT JIM SELLS AFTER CAMP.
Plus, you copy them to the dcamp server for lab
leaders to use for 2ac frontlines and other arguments.
KEEP TRACK OF
WHAT HAS BEEN TURNED IN AND PRINTED. Email Lab leaders that have not turned in their
evidence.
PLEASE CLOSE
