Please
put this file on your laptop: wndi.dot
(it is a template for doing your debate evidence; works
with Word 2003, 2004, 2007, and 2010; it does not work with Word 2008).

WINDOWS USERS,
ACCESS OUR FILES WHILE AT CAMP
WINDOWS:
Update your software
Windows Vista and 7—Click Start and type in Windows
Update (choose to update MS products)
Windows XP—Click Start, Programs, Windows Update
(choose Microsoft update)
Update your anti-virus and anti-spyware software.
Free software at: Spybot
anti-spyware Software AVG Anti-virus software
(note—don’t install
avg anti-virus if you already have an anti-virus program)
Please put this file on your laptop (gives you access
to our files when at camp): dcamp.bat
You double-click it, type in the password (given to you
when you arrive at Whitman), and you’ll have access to the camp’s server
when you are hooked up to the Whitman wireless.

MAC USERS, ACCESS
OUR FILES WHILE AT CAMP
MACS:
Update your software
Macs—Click the apple in the upper left of your screen
then click Software update . . . and follow the directions.
MACS:
Download and Install Filezilla (to access files on our server)
Download
and Install Filezilla for Mac OS X
After you install Filezilla, Open the Program
Click file, site manager
Click new site
Type in a name such as “WNDI”
On the right, choose the following:
host: winfiles.whitman.edu
Servertype: SFTP using SSH2 (when you do that, the port
should change to 22)
Logontype is normal
Username is dcamp
Click don't save password
Click advanced
Paste in this to the default remote directory:
/Offices/Forensics/dcamp/
Click okay
Then click save and exit
Then, click file, site manager
Doubleclick WNDI (or whatever you called it)
Type in the password (you will receive the password
when you arrive at Whitman)
