Connecting to the Network from Hunter and other academic buildings

Using Windows XP Professional (Using Windows XP Home? Go to Windows XP Home Network Access)

If you aren’t using Windows XP, see Jim to get it installed on your computer.

Open Windows Explorer

Click Network Places

Double-Click Windows Network

Double-Click Whitman

Double-Click Acad-server

Double-Click Home

Highlight the Forensics folder (you’ll probably be asked to type in the username and team password, do that)

Click Tools, Map Network Drive

Type in: \\Acad-server\offices\forensics\

Make sure it is checked next to “Reconnect at Log-on”

Click Finish

You are now all set.
