                                        (pinch eyes closed
                                        carve out crows feet
                                        keep out sun)
              appeals to the fetal form, that
                                        (sleep it out
                                        out-sleep it
                                        slip out of it)
                     skin-creasingly leaves red webs, that
                                        (battle scars
                                        from his wars
                                        with the sheets)
                            hides comfort in comforters, that
                                        (he doesn't find
                                        but keeps seeking
                                        burrowing deeper)
                                   becomes full-blown Sensitivity to Sight.
                                        (close the blinds
                                        of the windows
                                        to his soul.)
