Shop -- Plan View
The shop is located directly behind the mainstage, which allows for easy construction and breakdown of sets.
The Shop
The shop is where all of our major construction takes place. We have major equipment you would expect: tablesaws, bandsaws, radial arm saws, and so on.
Tool Cabinet
We store all of our smaller tools here, such as drills, hammers, nail guns, etc.
The Propdeck
This is our propdeck. We have collected a lot of props over the years, and we frequently find the perfect period prop here in the "attic" of the theatre.
The Furniture Deck
Here you can find any variety of chair or small table.
Student Employment
There is a great opportunity for paid student employment in the shop. Students can learn the uses of the tools, as well as have a chance to learn the basics of set construction. Students can work anywhere from 3 to about 12 hours a week. (Hours tend to vary based on show schedules.)
