The Freimann Stage - Plan View

The Blackbox
The Freimann Stage, named after Jack Freimann, is our blackbox theatre. It is our more intimate theatre setting, bringing the audience closer to the action of the play. The blackbox is often used for experimental productions as well, including student written one-acts and student produced lunchboxes.
This shot was taken during the construction of the set for Thugs.

Seating
The blackbox seats approximately 80 people. The seating arrangement is flexible, and is reconfigured frequently depending on the demands of the production. The Freimann Stage is also handicapped accessible.

The Blackbox Booth
The booth, as seen here, overlooks the blackbox. For more information, go to the section on lighting.
