community.
Marijuana and the Human Brain and Marijuana and the Brain, Part II: The Tolerance Factor by Jon Gettman is a fabulous site that explains much of cannabis' effects on the human brain. Jon Gettman was the national director of NORML and has created a college-level course on the web, called Marijuana, Science, and Public Policy focusing on all aspects of marijuana.

History of Marijuana Use: Medical and Intoxicant is a site that give some excerpts from the Report of the US National Commission on Marihuana and Drug Abuse's report intitled "Marihuana, A Signal of Misunderstanding". The site isn't particularly well organized, but it does have a lot of good information.

some other drugs. Many of the articles included in its pages are other

of Human Studies on Medical Use of Marijuana by Dale H. Gieringer
Ph.D., is a faily long paper that summarizes the scientific literature
concerning marijuana as medicine for a number of ailments including:
cancer chemotherapy, glaucoma, AIDS and many others.
The National
Society for Epilepsy is a large site with "all you need to know about
epilepsy." It is designed as a resource for epilepsy patients and their
families.
The National
Multiple Sclerosis Society supports a large site containing a myriad
of information about this disease including: symptoms, diagnosis, and
treatments among many other issues.
Cure Paralysis
Now is a site dedicated to everone affected by spinal cord injuries.
Its section on "Frequently Asked Questions" has almost anything you could
ever want to know about paralysis and its treatments.
