CIEE: Taipei Communications, Business, and Political Economy
Based at National Chengchi University in Taipei, the CIEE: Taipei Communications, Business and Political Economy program offers students the rare opportunity to enroll in regular university courses (taught in English) alongside Taiwanese students. Students may select from a wide range of disciplines including international relations, economics, media studies and computer science. In addition, participants study Mandarin Chinese language.

Chinese language, China-Taiwan relations, politics, economics, law, computer science, media studies, psychology, religion, minority studies, sociology, and art history. |
Eligibility: |
Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 (Whitman requirement) and one college-level Asian Studies course recommended. |

Meals: |
Students in the residence halls and in host families are responsible for purchasing their own meals and typically eat either at the university cafeterias or at the numerous local restaurants near the campus. |
