Tuition Exchange Working Group
Includes a history of the NW Tuition Exchange and the factors behind the exchange's imbalances, which ultimately led to its phase-out over an eight year period as stated in President Bridge's June 10, 2011 email to faculty and staff.
Includes a comparison of several prominent tuition exchanges used by higher-ed institutions, a ten year history of the Whitman College's tuition benefit costs/number of participants, and a summary comparison of tuition benefits within the Panel of 14. This document was updated to reflect additional information on comparative tuition exchange following the August 2011 Tuition Exchange Working Group Meeting.
Includes a spreadsheet detailing the tuition benefits offered to each Panel of 14 member institution's employee dependents. The appendix also includes data showing the approximate number of individuals using each of Whitman College's tuition benefits over the past ten years and the institution's attended through the College's tuition cash grant program.
