The outdoor courts are always an option, but given the weather and this weekend's forecast, chances are good both matches will take place in the Bratton Tennis Center.
Pacific Lutheran, under first-year coach Rocky Poulin, opened it season last weekend with a 7-2 non-conference victory over College of Idaho.
Puget Sound also got started last weekend, losing its NWC opener to Pacific 9-0 and falling to NCAA Division I Seattle by the same score.
Whitman, the four-time NWC champion, has won its last 79 consecutive regular season matches against conference foes.
Leading the charge for Whitman this spring are seniors Conor Holton-Burke and Adriel Borshansky.
Holton-Burke, the reigning NWC Player of the Year, is on the verge of joining Whitman's 100-win club in terms of career victories. He can reach the century mark this weekend if he plays in four matches (singles, doubles) and wins all four.
