Walla Walla, 1-12 on the season, has played a tough schedule littered with games against Portland State, Lewis-Clark State (twice), Central Washington and Eastern Oregon (twice).
The Wolves also have lost to Pacific, one of Whitman's Northwest Conference rivals, and UC-Santa Cruz.
Walla Walla picked up its lone victory against Evergreen State, beating the Geoducks 82-75 at a tournament hosted by College of Idaho.
Mark Moore, a 6-foot-1 senior guard, sparked that victory by hitting six 3-pointers en route to 28 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and three steals.
Moore is averaging 13.7 points on the season.
Andrew Bailey, a 6-foot-4 junior, adds 8.7 points while averaging more than six rebounds and one blocked shot per game.
Whitman, 4-2 on the season, has three players averaging in double figures.
Senior forward David Michaels (16.2 ppg, 6.3 rpg) is shooting 51.4 percent from the floor while senior guard Brandon Shaw (11.8 ppg, 3.7 rpg, 2.3 apg) is hitting 61.4 percent of his field goal attempts.
Sophomore guard Josh Duckworth is averaging 11.6 points and 5.0 rebounds.
Junior Drew Raher (5.8 ppg, 4.0 rpg) has made eight of 15 attempts from the 3-point line and leads the Northwest Conference with a 53.3 percent accuracy rate.
Other contributors include sophomore LuQuam Thompson (7.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg), junior Peter Clark (6.5 ppg) and senior D.J. Wright (4.5 rpg).
Whitman and Walla Walla played last December in Sherwood Center with the Missionaries winning 104-65.
Five Whitman players scored in double digits in that game and a sixth player added nine points.
