Men's BB at 7 p.m. Tonight in Lynden; Check for Live Stats

WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Whitman College men's basketball team wraps up its non-conference schedule tonight (Thursday) with a neutral-site game in Lynden, Wash., against Michigan's Calvin College.

The game starts at 7 p.m. in the Lynden High School gym.

Fans can follow the action via live stats (see link at right), assuming the wireless signal is strong enough in the gym.

Whitman takes a 7-3 record in tonight's game while Calvin is 5-5 overall after losing 76-51 Thursday night to Whitworth in a game played in Mercer Island, Wash.

Calvin returns eight letterwinners and two starters from a team that was 16-12 a year ago, placing second in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association.

After tonight's game, Whitman resumes Northwest Conference play when it travels to Tacoma, Wash., for Jan. 6-7 games at Pacific Lutheran and Puget Sound.

Whitman's next home games are Friday and Saturday, Jan. 13-13, against Linfield and Pacific.
