Shooting Simone

Date: November 7, 2012 to November 11, 2012 Location: Freimann Studio Theatre

It is Paris, 1937. Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre are the "it" couple, sworn to love each other as intellectual equals, changing the face of feminism and philosophy around the world. Flash to 1980. Many published texts and sexual scandals later we see how things can become more complicated. This very funny play explores themes of jealousy, the changing face of feminism, and the inevitably subjective nature of "truth."

Performances are Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Tickets available Oct. 26.
