“Pain in the Glass” Competition - Global Entrepreneurship Week

Date: November 15, 2013
Global Entrepreneurship Week

The flagship event for Whitman’s participation in Global Entrepreneurship Week is the “Pain in the Glass” competition, which asks budding entrepreneurs to solve a community-wide issue of glass recycling through creative entrepreneurism. Entrants submit a business proposal to solve the glass recycling issue, including a written document and a video pitch for their business idea, to the Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce between Nov. 11 and Nov. 15.

A panel of judges will select the top three proposals, and a winner will be announced on Nov. 19 at the Global Entrepreneurship Awards Ceremony at Whitman College.
