Larry Anderson
- B.S., Lewis and Clark College,1965
- M.A., Case Western Reserve University, 1967
- Ph.D.,Case Western Reserve University, 1968
- A member of the Whitman Faculty from 1968 to 2008, and am currently
Professor of Mathematics, Emeritus.
- Published some papers and joint papers, and was a member of an
infinity of committees, and led several student - faculty research projects.
- I am particulary grateful to the students at Whitman College, and the
high caliber faculty and administrators.
- Whitman was my first choice for a
teaching position, and I was lucky enough to get the job. Not many are so fortunate.
- Favorite sports over the years : racquetball, running, golf, skiing (the
latter at one time close to an obsession)
- Most prominent memory - the day a student came into my office with a live
rattlesnake.
- Currently living close to my grandchildren south of Portland and a member
of the Silverton Poetry Asssociation and the Molalla Library Board..
