Virginia Gore Urrutia, '35, Kelso, Washington, has published a history, They Came to Six Rivers: The Story of Cowlitz County. The manuscript was edited by Betty Davis Gardiner, '42.

Leonard Jansen, '40, a retired Spokane attorney, has completed two historical works. From Darkness to Light tells of his efforts in the development and delivery of electricity to rural Eastern Washington. Where Water Flows describes his experiences as lead counsel in resolving the Columbia Basin Project irrigation water repayment controversy. A founding attorney of the Washington Association of Wheat Growers, Jansen also authored The Men of Vision, a history of the association.

Mary Null Boule, '50, is publishing her 51st book. Four books of her third series, Native Americans of North America, are completed, and the fifth, Cayuse, Walla Walla and Umatilla Tribes, is due out at the end of the year.

Carolyn Carolsella Martin, '57, is the co-author of the recently published Building a Suburban Village, a centennial history of Bronxville, New York.

Jack Greene, '71, and Alessandro Massignani have published a new book, The Naval War in the Mediterranean 1940-1943. Written with full access to Italian sources, the book provides a detailed narrative of World War II in the Mediterranean while putting the Naval actions in their strategic context for both the Axis and the Allies.
