Penrose Library extends borrowing privileges to all Whitman College students, faculty, and staff members.  For more information community member policies, see the Community Library Use page.

Technology Services

Technology abounds!  We have PC and Mac workstations, printers, copiers, printers, a walk-up color scanner, and fax services.  The WCTS-staffed Technology Support Team provides laptop check-outs and assists with technology issues.

Whitman College and Northwest Archives

Our Whitman College and Northwest Archives curates materials that document the history of Whitman College and the Walla Walla region as well as rare books and other special collections housed in the Penrose Library.

Study Rooms, Supplies, & Lockers

The Library has eight large group study rooms, four single study rooms, and three media rooms, along with supplies available for purchase and lockers for senior students.

Course Reserves

Find materials your instructor has put on reserve. You can look up course materials by course name or number or by your instructor's name.

Library Instruction

Our Instructional and Research Services department guides students through the research process.  Find out how to schedule an instructional session.

Information for Faculty
