Theta members, Whitman College

Since the establishment of our chapter in 1956, Kappa Alpha Theta has worked to make itself a viable presence on campus. Our women are ever present in the Whitman community, taking roles in Associated Students of Whitman College, the Pioneer (student newspaper), dance team, Blue Moon (literary magazine), chorale, as well as many other extracurricular activities. Kappa Alpha Theta continually strives for academic excellence, managing to achieve the highest Greek GPA eight out of the last nine semesters. Our chapter is also active philanthropically, whether it be through visiting residents of the Oddfellows Home, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, or fundraising for our affiliated program, Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Year after year, we attract women with a diversity of interests and opinions, making our sorority a strong place to learn and grow during the college years.
