The members of Kappa Kappa Gamma strive for excellence in all aspects of our lives at Whitman College. Our chapter's diversity is what makes us strong. From biology majors and soccer players to art history and ballet, each member strives to be well rounded. Kappa has a strong scholarship program, here at Whitman, that provides valuable resources for all our members evidenced by our high GPA. Our philanthropy program offers several annual events that are unique to Kappa Kappa Gamma. We host an annual fundraiser, the "Mr. Whitman" contest, which raises funds for Walla Walla Public Library as part of our larger philanthropy “Reading is Fundamental”. We are frequent visitors to the Odd Fellows Home, caroling during the holidays and dancing with the residents on Valentine's Day. This past year, our hard work brought home a victory at choral contest raising money for our philanthropy. From movie nights to sporting events, we pride ourselves in being socially diverse as well as gaining lifelong friendships. Our chapter has a strong tradition of leadership, scholarship, and philanthropy.
