exactly is GLBTQ?
"A fun supportive community, where you can meet people, get advice, share experiences." - Religion Major
"A weekly lunch get-together with random Whitman GLBTQ folk affording members the chance to share whatever detail, intimate or humorous, they like with the group. Members occasionally seek advice, but for me it is a weekly event with other GLBTQ-ers to look forward to." - English Major
"A social group for queers only that is meant to be a support group but is rarely called upon to function as such. Low-profile; a small group. Fun people to have lunch with once a week. Refuge from the endless sign-up sheets and scores of straight women that characterize Coalition" - English Major

GLBTQ stands for Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgendered, and Questioning. It is an organization primarily for Whitman students. Staff and Faculty are welcome to join and participate as well.
