Details forthcoming When: Saturday October 23rd, 2004. Time TBD. Where: The Small Gym on the lower floor of Sherwood. What: A Classical Foil fencing tournament! The Parents' Weekend Beginners' Foil Fencing Tournament is an annual tradition for Whitman Fencing. Participation is open to all club members who are of the 1st rank (which usually means between 1 month and 1 year of experience). Please notice: Participation in this tournament is intended for club members only, but spectators are more than welcome to come watch! More details to come! Demos: Prizes: Tournament Format: Details which we (the club) still need to work out: We need to get in touch with the people running the show for the weekend and get on the schedule since we didn't do this last year. Otherwise we don't get an audience. We need to reserve the small gym once we have a definite time from above people. Do we want demos? Who, and with which weapons? Single or Double elimination?
