Students will have the opportunity to use the facilities in the Hunter Center for Communication Arts and Technology to videotape practice presentations. An intern will be available to critique the presentations and suggest ways to improve style, and to some extent, content.

Specific services provided by the intern will also include:

  • How to overcome a fear of public speaking.
  • How to construct an effectively organized and audience oriented presentation.
  • How to integrate technology and visual aids into oral presentations.
  • How to deal with answering questions.
  • How to avoid poor non-verbal communication.
  • The opportunity to practice in front of a helpful and constructive audience.

The intern is located in 204 Hunter. Office hours for fall 2000 will be announced at the beginning of the term.
