BY MONDAY, OCT. 29, DEMONSTRATE YOU HAVE COMPLETED A BACKGROUND CHECK ON ALL YOUR JUDGES AND COACHES

This is a hard deadline; you must have this in to Whitman by Monday, Oct. 29 or those judges/coaches may not participate in the tournament.

FROM WASHINGTON STATE?

------- An official from your school, school district, law office, police department, or teacher certification board besides the speech/debate coach(es) needs to email Margret Aquino (aquinoma@whitman.edu) confirmation that a criminal background check has been completed within the past three years on all coaches and judges attending the Whitman tournament and that such checks revealed no convictions.

-----Coaches or judges who have not had a background check and who are not able to do so through your school, should contact Margret Aquino (aquinoma@whitman.edu) to do a background check over email for $39 (such judges will also sign papers documenting the background check when they arrive at the tournament).
