Call Transfer

  1. Advise the caller that you are going to transfer the call.
  2. Place the original call on hold by pressing the switchhook once momentarily or by pressing the transfer button (on a business set phone). A new dial tone is now heard.
  3. Dial the number that you wish to transfer the call to.
  4. After the 3rd party answers, advise them that you are transferring a call.
  5. Press the switchhook again momentarily or press the transfer button again (on a business set phone).
  6. Announce to the original caller that the 3rd party is on the line.
  7. Hang up.

Three-Way Conference

Note: This can be done for a call that comes to you or a call you make yourself that you need to have someone else in on.
  1. Place the original call on hold by pressing the switchhook once momentarily or by pressing the transfer button (on a business set phone). A new dial tone is now heard.
  2. Dial the number of the person that you wish to include in the conference call.
  3. After the 3rd party answers advise them that you are initiating a three-way conference call.
  4. Press the switchhook again momentarily or press the transfer button again (on a business set phone).
  5. Announce to everyone that the conference call is up.
  6. When you are done everyone just needs to hang up to finish the conference call.

Activate Call Forward

  1. Lift the handset and dial 106. A new dial tone is now heard.
  2. Dial the number to which calls are to be forwarded. If you are forwarding to a non-campus number (cell phone, etc.) make sure you enter a '9' and the phone number. A confirmation tone will be heard.
  3. Hang up the phone.
Forwarding calls to voice mail (4399) sends calls directly to the voice mail system.

Cancel Call Forward

  1. Lift the handset and dial 107. A confirmation tone will be heard.
  2. Hang up the phone.

Call Pickup

To answer a different phone ringing in the same office "pickup group", dial 13#.
Note: This feature requires setup by the campus Telephone administrator.

Programming Speed Dialing

  1. Lift the handset and dial 14#. A special dial tone is heard.
  2. Dial a single digit code (0-9) under which the telephone number is to be stored and identified.
  3. Dial the number to be stored (remember to dial 9 for off campus numbers).
  4. Press the # key. A confirmation tone will be heard.
  5. Hang up the phone.

Using Speed Dialing

Lift the handset and dial * and the single digit code (0-9) that is assigned to the telephone number that you wish to call.

Delete Speed Dialing

  1. Lift the handset and dial 14#. A special dial tone will be heard.
  2. Dial the single digit code (0-9) under which the number to be deleted is stored.
  3. Press #. A confirmation tone will be heard.
  4. Hang up the phone.
