Your phone has options that are configurable by going to a web page. The following section explains accessing this web page and using the options available via the web.

The Phone-Management Web Page

• Go to https://cm1.whitman.edu/ccmuser/showHome.do
• Login with your Whitman user name and password

Incoming Call Forwarding

• Login to the phone-management web page (see above).
• Click the “user Options” pulldown in the upper left corner.
• Select “Device”.
• Click on “Line Settings” at the bottom of the page.
• You will see a series of check boxes and Forwarding/Line Behavior options.
• Set each option as needed.

NOTE: It is likely that the default options will be what most people need.

Speed Dials and Abbreviated Dials

Speed dials and abbreviated dials allow you to program numbers into your phone that you call frequently.

To Set a Speed Dial Number: Models 7906 and 7911

• Login to the phone-management web page (see above).
• Click the “User Options” pull-down in the upper left corner.
• Select “Device”.
• Click on “Speed Dials” at the bottom of the page.
• Enter a phone number in slot 1. Include “7“ if this is an off campus number.
• Enter a label (This will display in your phone).
• Enter the same label for the "ASCII label."
• Repeat if desired for three more numbers
• Click “Save” at the very bottom of the page

To Access/Use a Speed Dial Number: Models 7906 and 7911

• Press the “Navigation” button up or down.
• Highlight the number you wish to call.
• Lift the handset or press the “Dial” softkey.

To Set an Abbreviated Dial Number - All Models

• Login to the phone-management web page (see above).
• Click the “User Options” pull-down in the upper left corner.
• Select “Device”.
• Click on “Speed Dials” at the bottom of the page.
• Enter a phone number in any numbered slot (5 or higher on the 7906 and 7911).  Include “7“ if this is an off campus number.
• Enter a label.
• Enter the same label for the "ASCII label."
• Repeat if desired for up to 99 numbers.
• Click “Save” at the very bottom of the page.

To Access/Use an Abbreviated Dial Number - All Models

• Enter the abbreviated dial number of the person you wish to call.
• Press the “AbbrDial” softkey.
• Lift the handset.
