Dial-up Access to the Whitman Network

Free dial-up service is available for those members of Whitman community living off-campus.

• Restrictions:
  • 8 hours of connection time total, per day.
  • 2 hours connection time per session during the prime time (5pm - 10 pm), and 4 hours per session at other times.
• Obtain your dial-up account by visiting https://webapp.whitman.edu/dialin/. This username and password will be different from your standard Whitman account.

  Should you forget this password, go back to https://webapp.whitman.edu/dailin/ and set a new password.

• Dial-Up Phone Number: 526-4736 (Only include the area code, 509, if you are dialing from outside of it.)
• Protocol: PPP
• IP Address: 0.0.0.0 (You don’t insert any information here; it’s server assigned.)
• Domain name (Search domain): whitman.edu
• Primary DNS: 10.1.1.3
