The MDL is a facility where you can come to work on multimedia projects and receive one-on-one help if necessary. At the MDL, we seek empower Whitman students, faculty and staff: We help you to help yourself in developing multimedia skills. It's not as hard as you might think!

Available hardware includes:
- Nine 27" iMacs, 3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7. All are equipped to handle, scanning (both flat image and film), video editing, DVD authoring, web development, audio editing, and presentation creation.
- 42" wide color plotter printer
- Color laser printer capable of up to 11" x 17" printing
- Black and white printer
- Video duplication and conversion station — set up to convert VHS, miniDV and DVD into alternate formats. Limited support for Hi8 and VHS-C also available.
