Congratulations to: Ariel Ruiz


 

Ariel is an active participant in:

Club Latino


He recieved four nominations from students on campus, they said,

 

"...he is one of the most hardworking, dedicated and passionate students that I have ever met...as soon as you ask him for help he dedicates himself to you 100%" 

“He puts an amazing amount of effort into everything he does…he [focuses] on shedding light on some of Walla Walla’s and the United States’ current issues including The DREAM Act, The Ruby Ridge Dairy Farmers, and trying to get the Latino community in Walla Walla to vote.”

 

“He has also helped spread the awareness of the Dream Act and has helped the Latino community in Walla Walla to be more involved in politics.

“He works very hard to keep the campus active in things that are important both to Whitman and to the Walla Walla community.”

 Would you like to nominate a student to be the next student of the month? Download the Student of the Month nomination form in Adobe or Microsoft Word . You can either fill it out online or print out the form and campus mail it to Leann Adams, Reid Campus Center Student Activities Office. Blank forms are also located next to the elevator on the first floor of the Reid Campus Center. Students will be chosen on the basis of their involvement, leadership, nomination, and personal involvement in student groups.
