The Student Activities Office is pleased to offer two rental opportunities to Whitman students and staff members. We have acquired a complete karaoke system, with over 75 karaoke system, and an X-Box 360 game system with the games and equipment for Guitar Hero, RockBand, and Dance Dance Revolution. For a reasonable fee, student or staff groups can check-out one of these systems from our office and use them for a formal event or casual get together!

Karaoke Machine

The Student Activities karaoke machine may be checked out and used outside of the Reid Campus Center. Only persons affiliated with the college may rent this equipment. If the system is returned incomplete or broken, or if it is not returned at all, you or your organization will be charged to fix or replace the system and its components. If the system is not returned intact, you will be charged accordingly.

• 4 folders with lists of Karaoke music
• Blank sheets for music requests

Rental Rates

     Weekday (M-Th): (Equipment must be picked up by 4pm and returned the next day by 3pm)
              Student Groups:                          $25 for the evening  
              Department/Staff/Faculty:            $30 for the evening

     Weekend: (Equipment must be picked up by 4pm Friday and returned by Noon Monday)
              **Only one reservation will be allotted per weekend**
              Student Groups:                          $35
              Department/Staff/Faculty:            $40

Reserving Equipment

To request a date for renting the Karaoke Machine, please download and fill out the Karaoke Request Form and return the form to the Student Activities Office. If you fill out the form on your computer, you may hit the "Submit" button at the top of the page and it will be emailed to the correct person. If you want to print and fill out the form, please return in to the Student Activities Office, Reid 202.

X-Box 360

The Xbox 360 is for use ONLY inside the Reid Campus Center Building. Only persons affiliated with the college may rent this equipment. If the system is returned incomplete or broken, or if it is not returned at all, you or your organization will be charged to fix or replace the system and its components. If the system is not returned intact, you will be charged accordingly. If the system or any controllers leave the Campus Cente, you will be charged $50 in addition to any appropriate damage fees.

Reserving Equipment

Because the X-Box may be used only the Campus Center, you must reserve a room in Reid in order to also reserve the X-Box and accessories. Students, staff, and faculty members may reserve rooms/spaces in the Reid Campus Center at no cost by speaking the Summer Singer in RCC 202. When you make your reservation, let her know that you would also like to reserve the X-Box 360 and which games/equipment you will need.
