Women in Outdoor Leadership is a club designed to create a
community for women (and their supporters) involved in outdoor
activities to talk about their experiences and share their knowledge
and skills. We welcome women who are interested in the outdoors and
want to learn more. In the past, we have sponsored a scholarship for
the Wilderness First Responder class, lead backpacking trips, held
clinics for various technical skills, etc. We emphasize both physical
outdoor activity participation and the philosophy behind it. We are
excited to be women particiapting in a widely male-dominated
environment.
