Description The Student Budget Committee was created to advise the College administration on the College budget and proposed tuition increases. The Student Budget Committee meets to advise the President's Council during the formation of the College budget as well as to discuss goals and objectives of the College. This Committee is responsible for submitting a written statement regarding any proposed tuition increases and also for holding student forums on the budget activities of the College. Three student representatives who are not elected or salaried employees of ASWC serve one-year terms on this Committee. Nominations Process: There are three student/faculty College Committees that have student seats and six student Advisory Committees. ASWC is responsible for appointing representatives to these committees. The appointment process to all these committees is carried out by the ASWC Nominations Chair in accordance with Article IX of the by-laws. The general procedure works as follows:
