Description The General Studies Committee is responsible for make recommendations about the introduction of new courses, substantive changes in existing courses, and alteration of rules for the Core program. There are two student representatives on this committee, who each serve one-year terms. Nominations Process: There are three student/faculty College Committees that have student seats and six student Advisory Committees. ASWC is responsible for appointing representatives to these committees. The appointment process to all these committees is carried out by the ASWC Nominations Chair in accordance with Article IX of the by-laws. The general procedure works as follows:
