Project Eye-to-Eye
Mentoring Program for students with ADD/ADHD and/or a Learning Disability. Mentors are paired with a student from one of the three elementary schools in Walla Walla and for about an hour and a half make art projects together in the Art Building and the art project they are creating helps start conversations about their learning disabilities. Our goal is to empower them by letting them know that they can go to college because real people/college students, like their mentor, fought similar battles with education etc. and are great role models to encourage them to excel as well.
Project Eye-To-Eye's mission is to improve the life of every person with a learning disability. It fulfills its mission by supporting and growing a network of youth mentoring programs for those with learning differences, and by organizing advocates to support the full inclusion of people with learning disabilities (LD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in all aspects of society.
