American Indian Association

The goals of the AIA are to create an environment devoted to promoting awareness about the local tribes, being a support group for Native Americans at Whitman, and also to provide a cultural and intellectual space aimed at informing those interested about Native American issues and culture. One of the big goals of the AIA is to strengthen the bond between Whitman College and the Local Nations, creating a lasting relationship. Ultimately, the goal of the club is to provide a program of exchange that not only benefits Whitman students but also the local tribes.
