Have you ever wanted to learn how to bind a book, but don't have the time to enroll in a class?  Do you admire glass beads and wonder how to make them yourself?  The Arts and Crafts Series gives the Whitman community a chance to expand their knowledge of different art and craft techniques through hands-on experience.  The series occurs monthly in the Olin art wing.  At each workshop, a different art or craft is presented and then participants have the opportunity to practice the skill they have learned.  Past workshops have included knitting, book-binding, candle making, and cooking.  If you want to see a particular topic added to this semester's schedule, or want to teach a workshop, please contact the series Coordinator.

Arts and Crafts Series Workshop: Creative Canvas: Bag Decoration! Give voice to your inner artistic self AND save the environment one canvas bag at a time! Bring yourself to the resource room and we will provide you with a medium size canvas bag and markers, glitter, paint buttons…anything you need to make the bag truly yours. Space is limited!
