Neal Christopherson is best classified as a triple agent, teaching a class for the sociology department, acting as assistant coach for the cross country team, and also serving as Whitman's Director of Institutional Research. He graduated from Wheaton College, IL in 1995 and received his Ph.D from the University of Notre Dame in August, 2000. Currently Neal teaches Social Statistics, and is also interested in the Sociology of Religion, Culture Studies, Sociology of Sports, and Research Methods. Outside of academics Neal enjoys running, cycling, soccer, music, reading, and movies, among other things.
