Special Events/Guest Speaker Intern

Maintain contact through email, cell phone, and mailings

Meet weekly with Assistant director to discuss progress and
up-coming tasks, and to process successes and challenges of past events

Work directly with Student Services & Scheduling and
Events office and other offices to reserve lodging, vehicles, room
reservations, and audio visual support

Communicate changes in set-ups, additional requests,
complaints, and compliments to the Scheduling & Events Office

Track all tasks completed, with running commentary and
feedback on improving the process next time; communicate these suggestions to
the following Intern.

Act as Master of Ceremony at all scheduled events,
introducing the guest speaker in professional manner that garners enthusiasm
for their talk/show
