Bookstore
In addition to textbooks, the Whitman College Bookstore carries a full line of insignia clothing and gift items, as well as an extensive line of art and school supplies. Tickets for most on-campus events are sold at the service counter.
Outdoor Program and Rental Shop
The Outdoor Program is an outdoor recreation cooperative offering rental equipment, trips, lectures, classes, and other training. The OP also manages the Sherwood climbing wall.
Post Office
The Whitman College Post Office is the sorting location for student and departmental mail deliveries. The Post Office also sells stamps and accepts outgoing U.S. Postal Service mail. While packages of all sizes sent to students are delivered to the Campus Center Post Office, students needing to ship large packages should contact Mailing Services in Boyer House.

Information Desk
Lost? Got a question? The friendly staff at the information desk can help. The desk is staffed from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 - 11:00 PM Monday-Thursday; from 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM - Midnight on Friday; from 10:00 AM - Midnight on Saturday; and from 10:00 AM - 11:00 PM on Sunday. Desk staff and student building managers can provide information about the Reid Campus Center and the College campus. Just ask!

Campus Center Offices
Associate Dean of Students/Student Programs
The Associate Dean of Students/Student Programs at Whitman fills many different roles. The position directly oversees the Reid Campus Center as well as many of the offices that are housed within the building. The Associate Dean is responsible for fall and spring orientation and is the liasion between the College administration and Whitman's Greek system as well as the Coordinator of the Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response Network .
Campus Center Director's Office
The Campus Center Director is also the Associate Dean of Students/Student Progams at Whitman. The Director's Office is responsible for many of the services that are directly offered by the Reid Campus Center including:
- Dark Room Access
- Lost and Found
- Refrigerator Rental
- Whitman Express Bus Tickets
Conferences and Events
Reservations for meeting rooms anywhere on campus and reservations for the College's Mill Creek Cabin are handled by the Conferences & Events Office in the Reid Campus Center. Scheduling has a wide variety of meeting spaces available in the Reid Campus Center. Click here to learn more about the rooms we have available. Additionally, there are student work rooms available for organizations that would like to reserve space to work on a large project or event.
The Conferences and Events Office also oversees all of Whitman's summer programming.
Student Activities
The Student Activities Office is designed to assist students with planning and participating in activities of their interest. The office is an umbrella organization for many groups, and assists students in creating new activity or interest groups. It is an excellent information center for both on-campus and off-campus activities and events. The goal of the office is to provide support and assistance for students to do what they wish outside the academic arena. We provide a wide range of services, including advising individuals and groups, managing, and programming.
Catering Office
Bon Appetit provides catering for all on-campus as well as some off-campus events. A wide variety of menus is available for any occasion.
Student Engagement Center
The Career Center offers individual appointments, career assessments, job search workshops, networking programs, career presentations, an Alumni Career Network, and a variety of career, internship, and graduate school fairs.
Center for Community Service
The Center for Community Service administers several in-house outreach programs and assists students interested in local service opportunities by acting as a volunteer clearinghouse and liaison between Walla Walla and Whitman College.
Intercultural Center
The Intercultural Center provides academic and social support to ensure a positive Whitman experience for multicultural and international students. The staff promotes multiculturalism by offering cultural events and supporting the ten student diversity groups on campus.
