1. COURSE REQUIREMENT FOR MAJOR: Course will substitute for a specific course requirement for your major. The Whitman equivalent course must be listed, and your major adviser must sign the consent column.

2. MINIMUM CREDIT REQUIREMENT FOR MAJOR: Credits will apply toward the minimum requirement for you major. The Whitman equivalent course should be listed (if applicable), and your major adviser must sign the consent column.

3. EXTERNAL DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENT FOR MAJOR: Course will substitute for a specific course or credit requirement in support of your major, but offered by another department (e.g. a chemistry requirement for the biology major). List Whitman equivalent course if applicable.

4. CREDIT TOWARDS DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENTS: Credits will apply toward completion of distribution requirements. The Registrar will review acceptability of these credits.

5. DEGREE CREDIT: Credits will apply toward the 124 credit degree requirement, but not towards #1-4 above. The Registrar will review acceptability of these credits.

6. NOT ACCEPTABLE FOR CREDIT: Credits will not apply toward completion of any degree requirements.
