They will then be allowed back into web registration at 8:00 am on Tuesday, September 2 with the entire study body for additional changes. Continuously updated course information is available through the Faculty Kiosk (http://quack.whitman.edu) including course rosters for Fall 2008 (see instructions below).
Your approval as an adviser: Students who wish to make changes to their schedule must obtain electronic adviser approval. Advisers can access the clearance utility through the Faculty Kiosk, QUACK (see instructions below).
Your approval as an instructor: Students trying to add a consent or closed class on the Web will need your electronic instructor consent. You may access this utility using QUACK (see instructions below).
Academic Overload approval for returning students may be given on the same screen used to clear students for changes to their schedule. This can be used only for those students routinely approved by the Board of Review (i.e. those students who wish to enroll in 19 to 21 academic credits and have attained both cumulative and previous semester Whitman GPAs of ≥ 3.0). Students without the minimum 3.0 GPA or wishing to take 22 or more academic credits will need to use the standard Board of Review petition form available from the Registrar's Office or via the Web. All first-year students must petition the Board of Review for an overload of more than 18 academic credits.
NOTE: Applied Music is academic credit - not activity credit.
