October 24th, 7:00pm, Kimball - Brien Sheedy to present on Carstenz Pyramid
Brien Sheedy, the director of the Whitman College Outdoor Program will be presenting on his adventure summiting what some call the "Eighth Summit," thus undisputedly finishing his quest for summiting the tallest peak in every continent.                                   

November 6th, 8:00pm, Maxey - Matchstick Productions film "Seven Sunny Days"

Matchstick Productions brings you "Seven Sunny Days" from powder-covered locations around the world. This ski film is sure to cause excitement about the upcoming ski season.

November 14th, 8:00pm, Maxey - Teton Gravity Research (TGR) film "Lost and Found"

TGR is back this year with another action-packed ski and snowboard film shot on location around the world. Come and get pumped for this ski season!

November 27th, 8:00pm, Olin 130 - Stephen Most
Stephen Most is a playwright and scriptwriter from Berkley, California. His documentary film credits include two Emmy-winners and four Academy Award nominees. Most wrote the texts, audio voices, and video scripts for the permanent exhibit of the Washington State History Museum and four programs in a world history series for Oregon Public Broadcasting. His most recent book, "River of Renewal: Myth and History in the Klamath Basin" tells the story of the basin's complex history through historical, cultural, and environmental perspectives.

This 80-hour course with the Wilderness Medicine Institute of NOLS provides the tools to make critical medical and evacuation decisions in remote locations.
