The Whitman College Outdoor Program (OP) was recently rated the top college outdoor program in Washington state! The main goals of the OP are to assist people in their outdoor pursuits, provide leadership training, and provide Whtiman students with safe outdoor alternatives to their time in Walla Walla.
The OP Shop provides quality rental equipment in the fields of hiking, backpacking, climbing, flatwater and whitewater kayaking, rafting , canoeing, fishing, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and telemark and alpine-touring skiing. Activities cater to novice, beginner, and intermediate skill levels. We also have many resources for folks planning their own trips, including equipment rentals, maps, books, and local knowledge.
Come in to the OP and check us out! We are open to all (although some classes and trips are only open to Whitman College students, staff and faculty).|
