Jillian Davis paced the Missionaries with 16 kills, a season-high. Rachel Shober and Corie Brewer added seven and five kills respectively. Junior Rachel Cline dealt out 25 assists to Whitman's attackers, her highest assist total in this young season.
Freshman Hannah Linsenmayer contributed four service aces and eight digs in only her third match as a collegiate athlete. Becca Gotz led Whitman with 11 digs, helping to limit Albion's offense to only 48 points over three sets.
Whitman will take on John Carroll later Saturday at 1pm to wrap up their pre-season trip to Illinois.
