Hispanic Week in the Legislature

KUOW radio hosted a show on Tuesday, Feb. 20, previewing this week’s Hispanic Legislative Week activities in Olympia. One of the participants was Ian Warner, a member of Paul Apostolidis’ politics seminar that wrote The State of the State for Washington Latinos: 2006. Warner researched and wrote the section on “The Political Representation of Latinos in Washington,” which has stirred controversy and political action on the Sunnyside, Wash., city council. Professor Apostolidis, Warner and several other members of the State of the State class will be attending activities in Olympia on Feb. 21 and 22.
