WALLA WALLA, Wash. -- The Whitman College women's soccer team and the Walla Walla Parks & Recreation Department are hosting youth soccer camps later this month.

Youngsters four and five years of age can register for the "Little Strikers Soccer Camp," slated for Monday through Friday, Aug. 17-21. Hours are 9 to 10 a.m. each day. The cost is $50 per player and space is limited.
Youngsters from age six through 12 can register for the "Strikers Soccer Camp," which runs Wednesday through Friday, Aug. 19-21. Hours are 9 a.m. to noon each day. The cost is $60 per player.
Both camps will meet at the Whitman Athletics Fields, located at the corner of Penrose and Sumach streets, near DeSales High School.
The camps are designed to help young players get ready for the fall soccer season. Assisted by members of the Whitman women's soccer team, youngsters will work to fine tune their soccer skills. Each participant receives a camp t-shirt at the time of registration.
Registration is available online through the Walla Walla Parks & Recreation webpage. Registration is also possible on the first day of camp.
