Margaret Wilds was Principal Horn of the Spokane Symphony 1985-2001.
She also served as Assistant Principal then Third Horn of the San
Diego Symphony during 1992-94. She was a member of the Quintessential
Brass, winner of the Fischoff and Coleman chamber music competitions,
and The Emerald City Brass Quintet, finalist at the Concert Artists
Guild competition. She has been a soloist on numerous occasions with
the Spokane Symphony and at the Olympic Music Festival. Margaret
received a bachelor's degree at Indiana University, where she studied
with Philip Farkas. Her master's degree is from the University of
Washington.
